Would this compound work as a designer name in other combinations? Would we brag about our new shoes designed by Gus Wittington? Would sport a pair of jeans designed by Al Buckingham?

Ralph Lauren
Those that know me know that I am very much a polo shirt and jeans guy.. I was just considering the name of my patron designer is 'Ralph' as in Ralph Lauren has a first name you would stereotypicaly find on a blue collared shirt or overhear in a bowling alley, with a last name you might find on the wall of patrons at a distinguished university.
